About the Wines

Terrassen Riesling, Bründlmayer 2019
Kamptal, Austria

This Riesling is a blend of wines sourced from different younger, terraced vineyards of the best sites. A bouquet of white and yellow flowers with a twist of lemon peel rise to the nose. On the palate, it is dry and fresh with light tones of fresh peach and a crisp backbone that highlights its minerality and spices.

Chablis, Domaine du Colombier 2018
Chablis, France

Domaine du Colombier is a 55-hectare family property that’s been running since 1887 and is now run by three sons, Jean-Louis, Thierry and Vincent. This is an excellent source of pure, unoaked, mineral-laden Chablis, which matches perfectly with seafood, gougères and other charcuterie.

Sauvignon Blanc, Dog Point Vineyard 2019
Marlborough, New Zealand

The Dog Point Sauvignon Blanc is a fresh, citrus-driven white underscored by hints of honeydew melon, pears and gala apple. A classic, yet restrained style of Sauvignon Blanc with a mellow, rounded texture on the finish with a fine vein of salinity.

Single Vineyard Malbec, Bodega Luigi Bosca 2018
Mendoza, Argentina

This Malbec was one of the first Argentine wines with a Designation of Origin. A deep and bright red violet wine with balanced aromas and red fruit and sweet spice notes. It is refreshing and voluptuous in the mouth, with fine and gentle tannins, while it is clean and expressive in the palate, with a strong character, typicity and a deep finish with soft smoked hues as a result of its ageing in oak barrels. It is a great exponent of the variety and the terroir, with good ageing potential.

Wallace, Glaetzer Wines 2018
Barossa Valley, Australia

Glaetzer Wallace takes on the traditional Barossa Valley blend of Shiraz and Grenache in a modern way. The Shiraz brings backbone, flesh and body to the wine with the Grenache adding a soft, vibrant juiciness. The former will see a bit of oak while the latter remains unoaked to retains freshness. Hints of red currant, clove and spice on the nose. Fresh juiciness on the palate combines with supple tannin and pronounced flavours of liquorice and mulberry. A wine to enjoy in its youth that will also develop additional complexity over 6 to 8 years of cellaring.

Les Cassagnes de La Nerthe Rouge Côtes-du-Rhône Villages, Château La Nerthe 2019
Rhône Valley, France

A thoughtful blend of Southern Rhone grape varieties. Les Cassagnes Rouge is very expressive on the nose; the attack is round, dominated by Syrah with floral notes of violet and spices. The Grenache contributes a dense, robust but supple structure. The palate is ripe and concentrated, with fine tannins suggesting that the wine has capability to age. A gorgeous example from the renowned Chateau La Nerthe.
